The Catbird Seat

The radio voice of the Brooklyn Cyclones since the team’s inception passed away of an apparent heart attack. Warner was 68 years old.Fusselle missed only a couple of games during his 11 years with the Cyclones a minor league affliate of the New York Mets.

He broadcast the Cyclones games from the “Catbird Seat,”a phrase that originated with famed radio announcer Red Barber when he was calling games for the Brooklyn Dodgers.
