Wright leads Mets past Phillies; Win 6-5

The New York Mets won possibly their toughest game to date as they were able to comeback and beat the Phillies tonight in walk-off fashion. This team fought hard tonight just to win this game. They were up against the Phillies best pitchers and they were still able to get the job done.

David Wright was spectacular tonight as he led the team to the win. Wright went 3 for 5 tonight with a homerun, a single, and four RBI’s. Wright stepped up as a leader tonight and really gave the Mets some nice at-bats. Tonight Wright continued his great season and is proving that he is still a superstar player.

R.A. Dickey struggled today, but was able to get off the hook. Dickey went seven strong innings allowing five runs on eleven hits. Dickey didn’t have his best knuckleball, but the team was able to pick him up on…
