Dodgers have interest in Bronson Arroyo

The Dodgers are still interested in adding a starting pitcher in the wake of signing ace Clayton Kershaw to a seven-year deal, and free-agent pitcher Bronson Arroyo is on the team’s short list of options, reports.

The team could still be a player for Japanese free-agent Masahiro Tanaka, but it’ll come down to ownership’s willingness to dish out the large amount of cash expected to be required to sign Tanaka.

Arroyo, who went 14-12 with a 3.79 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP over 202 innings with the Reds last season, is said to be seeking a three-year contract.
